The (2) hospitals implemented used products from Cerner, Siemens, 3M, SMS, SPI/Conifer in addition to GE PACs imaging. Developed the business migration plan (charter, scope, project plan, etc.) for Virginia Medicaid claims processor to a new third party administrator (TPA) for claims processing. Acted on behalf of the prime contract Medicaid claims processor for enrollment, billing/reconciliation, mailroom/customer service, claims processing. The main component of this migration involves the ETL (Extract, Transform, and Load) process of the Medicaid Claims Data (MCD) from the legacy TPA to the newly contracted system.Other projects include CareFusion Pyxis pharmacy and MModal transcription upgrade implementations.Content developer for a course to cross train HIMSS and PMI analysts and project managers for healthcare.

DSRIP is the main mechanism by which New York State will implement the Medicaid Redesign Team (MRT) Waiver Amendment (Medicaid 1115 waiver). NSLIJ is involved with (3) Performing Provider Systems with projects that span data analytics/reporting, INTERACT (Interventions to Reduce Acute Care Transfers) and integration of primary care and behavioral health.Interviewed executive leadership, gathered high level and detailed requirements, developed a staffing plan and budget for 90 day and 6 month program estimates. Established the program with the internal PMO for budgeting and tracking. Implemented and assigned partner hospital staff for the Medicaid Analytics Performance Portal (MAPP). This performance management tool and associated security is required to allow the PPS to receive and securely store Medicaid claims data needed for data analytics and reporting. Established communications channels with internal and external PPS hospital partners to include PPS partners’ health information exchanges (HIEs), regional exchanges (RHIOs) and future state interaction with the Statewide Health Information Network for New York (SHIN-NY). -
