The world is changing. Today, there are 9.4 million people in employment over the age of 50. Envisage is helping employers create a dynamic inter-generational workplace, realise the potential of older workers, release their skills into local volunteering and help employees generally transition well into later life.Envisage works with businesses to develop policies and practices that enable older employees to stay productive and in meaningful work for longer then, at the appropriate time, transition well to a fulfilling retirement. "Older people are often faster at carrying out complex tasks that allow them to draw on their contextual knowledge and years of work experience." So, it is vital that responsible employers unlock this potential and continue to invest in older workers.Envisage’s life transition workshop equips participants with the information, social networks, resilience, and opportunities needed to move purposefully into later life. It aims to help improve the economic outcomes, health, and well-being of both the participant, their family, and the wider community. On average 30% of the UK workforce is over 50, if you want to find t how to better engage and support your older workers contact me now – peter.goodall@envisage.life
