Overall management of the business in line with business plan, objectives and risk mitigation. Key projects negotiated and successfully delivered include the Perth Busport, Perth Children's Hospital, numerous shopping centres, school's and public buildings.

Overall responsibility of the business. Projects predominately undertaken covered both luxury apartments, multi unit developments and Government projects across the Perth metro area in range $5M to $50M. Also initiated a new vertical integration with BGC in Commercial Fit out D&C projects which is still in operation today.One of the key highlights at JCP, Peter was Bid Leader on the $600M package 6 Tender comprising Mine, Port and Rail Buildings with JV Partner Korean POSCO E&C and BGC Contracting for the Roy Hill Iron Ore Project. Unfortunately unforeseen late in 2012 with funder Len Buckeridge passing the Directors decided to close JCP Construction.

Overall responsibility of the business. When commencing in 2009 Peter was charged with the added responsibility to restructure the company into a more traditional Commercial Contractor in line with the business new strategic intent. Key projects successful won and delivered include South Hedland New Living $150M (Jaxon received 3 consecutive years running UDIA awards for excellence), Rivershores Luxury Development Fremantle $52M (MBA Award), Woodside Pluto Housing $45M (design and construct - 200,000 hrs worked without LTI and successful indigenous engagement ), BHPB Project 4 Pretty Pool $25M Port Hedland (design and construct - our first project with BHP and delivered very well), BER Metro Schools $30M (delivered on time and on budget) and numerous other projects. Jaxon also partnered with Fairbridge WA Inc which included indigenous trades engagement across a number of our Pilbara projects which was well received by our clients.

Overall responsibility of the business. Within a very short time Peter's business, staff and successful Client relationships grew very quickly and projects predominately covered negotiated forms of engagement where certainty of project outcomes were central around value adding for the business key Clients. Projects completed included Seashells Resort Stage 3 and Stage 2 forward works (combined $20M) Leederville Hotel ($6m), Parkland Road Offices ($35M), Ess Bar Subiaco ($1m) , Torcello Mews Mandurah ($3M) and Barker Rd Offices ($6M). Consultancy services continuing with key clients and assignments.

As Project Director, Peter managed nearly all of Fini Group's built form projects such as Panorama Luxury Apartments ($65M), Majestic Quay ($45M MBA award winner for excellence) and also worked on redevelopment of Old Treasury Buildings which was all but signed off with 6 star hotelier Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts. When Mirvac acquired the Fini Group project's in 2004 Peter's role expanded to encompass an even broader commercial and development acumen and include hotel accommodation, commercial and bar and brasserie mixed tenancies that required a high degree of legal, strata and approvals in a mixed use strata. A number of pioneering and successful outcomes have been adopted nationally which Peter played a key role on. The successful mixed use developments included South Cove Redevelopment, East Perth $45M, Quay West Resort Bunker Bay $65M (MBA excellence award winner), The Point Peninsular Development, Mandurah $150M (UDIA award winner) and Azure Apartments Mount Pleasant $65M (UDIA award winner).

Peter joined Doric at its inception and assumed overall responsibility of winning and delivering all of Doric's new and awarded projects and delivering them on program to the highest quality and zero harm. During its first 7 years Doric achieved industry and peer recognition based on it's cornerstone of excellent client service and vendor/ stakeholder relations by winning best builder in WA at MBA awards in 2007 a target which was set by Harry and Peter at inception. During this same time Peter received both state and national awards for professional excellence from the Australian Institute of Building. Peter was promoted to Construction Manager in 1990 and soon after Contracts Manager of Doric. Key projects successfully delivered by Peter are many but notable ones include The Rydges Perth Hotel $25M (MBA state and national award winner), Reading Cinemas Belmont $20M and Mandurah $10M (MBA award winner's), Kaleeya Hospital Redevelopment $15M (MBA award winner), Peters and Brown Dairy Distribution Center $15M, 9 x consecutive construction management projects for Burswood (3 of them MBA winner's) Bindaring Parade Apartments Crawley $10M.

Peter was responsible for the project management and administration of $25M refurbishment of 111 St Georges Terrace Perth. The works internally were staged to coincide with maintaining essential services for tenancies and the external works comprised the entire external facade refurbishment from climbing gantries and new ground floor level extensions and courtyard soft and hard landscaping.

In 1884 Peter Worked In Kuala Lumpur Malaysia On 2 Large Projects With Mutiplex

When Peter joined Multiplex he was initially based in Kuala Lumpur (KL) Malaysia and worked on $35M Shar Alam Core Project, responsible for all Contract Administration (CA) requirements for the project. Whilst in KL Peter also assisted with CA duties on the 26 level Wisma Genting Office Building which was built in a record time of 12 months. On completion of the KL projects Peter relocated back to Perth and worked on Burswood in charge of Contractual and Financial Administration of 2 x projects undertaken concurrently - The Burswood Showroom and Dome. These projects were undertaken on a fast track design and construct basis with major structural design components eg Dome comprised 50no ave 20T precast concrete gutters and 500T pre-tensile air inflated roof structure. The Showroom comprised $30M specialist staging components and winches and contracting with specialist works and requirements involved coordinating with national and overseas specialist consultants and subcontractors. The Burswood and Dome buildings have a combined value of over $150M. Upon completion of the Burswood project Peter was part of tender bid team to successfully bid and secure $130M Stock Exchange Office Building and then went on to manage the early works of Perth's largest Office Building - 52 storey $160M Central Park Building which comprised 64,000 sqm office accommodation plus 3,000 of retail space, 1,030 on-site basement car parking and unique design feature 5,000 sqm garden park. At the time the only thing the stopped Peter continuing on the project was a much needed overseas holiday.
