I am an energetic, self-motivated individual with experience working in industrial settings. I enjoy the challenge of working in unfamiliar areas, and thrive in a fast paced work environment due in part to my ability to learn new processes and procedures quickly and efficiently.While my university degree is of a mechanical nature, I am also very interested in electronics and instrumentation and spend some of my free time prototyping small electronics projects using an Arduino micro-controller.I have been exposed to many problem solving scenarios which have challenged both my critical and practical thinking, through my academic and employment experience. I have experience in many areas, including 3D CAD modelling parts for manufacturing, designing process systems for refinery operations, and managing projects of varying sizes through their entire lifetime, providing progress reports to key stakeholders, and liaising with contractors and vendors where required.I am a very organized individual, with strong written and verbal communication skills that I have developed through my Mechanical Engineering Degree. I am very proficient with Microsoft Office products (including Excel macros and VBA programming), MATLAB, and CAD software such as SolidWork. I also have a familiarity with AutoCAD and other AutoDesk design software.
