16 years experience with the conceptual development, execution, and presentation of visual media including; painting, photography, video, performance, and installation; for gallery exhibitions, events, and commissions.

7 years leading an art and media production company I founded in 2007. Collaborating with a team of national and international artists, developing, managing projects, and communicating overall media concepts. Through research and gathering inspiration from trends in contemporary culture, I created the overall brand vision of “VECTOR”. Whose mission is to create a platform for the “Artists Vision” which is a driving force in the evolution of attitudes, ideas, and culture; online, in publication, through events, exhibitions, and lectures. Beginning with “VECTOR Artists Journal”, a collection of writings by visual artists. So far, I have developed, executed, and published 5 issues of the journal, which has been launched in the United States, Europe, and on the Web. [4 new international issues are in development for 2015] The second project being, “VECTOR Video”, where I spearheaded the execution, promotion, fundraising, marketing, and design of an international video art festival with screenings in galleries, theaters, and on the web. In charge of the initial setup & organization of the entire project. Hired and managed the team of artists to meet objectives and tight deadlines. Prioritized, multi-tasked the daily workload, and individual project development. Developed imaging, editing, and printing systems for the artists, and set goals and responsibilities to meet expectations for all projects. Oversaw the scheduling, presentation, approval, distribution, and execution of all projects. Liaison between the executive director and the staff. Maintained the monthly department budget, as well as the overall yearly budget proposal. Hired new talent as needed and fired staff when necessary. Used interpersonal skills to inspire and maintain a high level of creativity in the staff. Recognized and responded to any difficulties and challenges that arose to keep the environment productive and positive.

Web design for artists and art programs, photographed and organized all content, using Photoshop, Word, Acrobat, Illustrator, and Dreamweaver.

Founded and directed a 2 year project and exhibition space in Brooklyn. Coordinated and executed all exhibitions at the space, curated and installed the work, organized the openings, publications, Fundraising, and Marketing. Maintained the exhibition space.

Created a database for entire body of work, built an artist website, photographed all artwork, managed email and phone, ordered supplies and took care of studio, shipping and receiving.

In charge of inviting and managing guest lecturers series for the SVA - MFA program.
