Peter Grundy is a designer and illustrator who in 1980 redefined the genre which today is known as infographics.At the Royal College of Art in the late 70s Peter Grundy and Tilly Northedge became interested in a visual communication that explained rather than sold things. In 1980 they started a studio designing information in a new, creative way, which they called Grundy & Northedge. Over the next 26 years they invented a unique visual language with whit and humour at its heart and redefined the once dull area of information design.In 2006 Peter Grundy started Grundini, venturing beyond information design and into brand and advertising. Anywhere in fact where the complex and perplex needed explaining by simple, elegant, visual messages and ideas.
