Working with the Market Making desk to advance pricing models, improve algorithms and increase hedging efficiency as well as building proprietary MFT strategies.

Working in a small team to market make over 150 products on challenger exchanges across Rates, FX, Commodities and Index.-Developing algorithms to optimise the market making operation.-Programming applications to fill gaps in the capabilities of current software in Python and studying C++ to progress development of in-house software.-Monitoring algorithms to assist senior traders and communicating market making fills quickly and efficiently to the trade floor.-Providing research on new products before the desk goes live in order to predict and manage risks and optimise hedging strategy.-Staying on top of data releases and market moving stories in order to communicate this clearly to the trading floor during trading hours.

Included two rotations:1. CPG - Desiged a new template to be used for deep dives on distressed names which the group has exposure to and assisted with the group's BAU.2. Commodities - Wrote 4 pieces of code to streamline various activities involving the Firm wide Stress Infrastructure, VaR and weekly BAU tasks.

Teaching Mathematics as part of the Government's initiative to get students back up to speed with learning after various lockdowns. I tutored A Level Students in groups of 2 or 3, and this has helped me to develop presentation, demonstration and communication skills.
