Following promotion, the following responsibilities were added to my remit:Establishment, and ongoing leadership of, the UK & Europe Colleague Engagement Team.Design and implementation of the international Colleague Engagement model.Design and implementation of the award-winning Global Operations Strategy engagement programme.Supporting engagement in programmes including Dynamic Working, Citizenship, Recognition Awards and Wellness.Designing and delivering colleague engagement strategies for an audience of over 30k employees.Partnering with Managing Directors and other senior stakeholders and coaching them in the delivery of regional and team-specific engagement strategies.Introduction of a team development programme, based on the principles of MBTI.

Partnering with senior management, HR and Internal Communications to create region and team-specific engagement strategies.Establish channels to provide a conduit for colleague voice and ongoing feedback (voice forums, pulse surveys, drop-in sessions, etc).Deliver local engagement, comms and visible leadership activities (town halls, blogs, events, etc).Supporting the Barclays Citizenship Programme.

Crossrail

Creating and developing the project’s internal communications and employee engagement strategy, implementing all elements. Leading on a range of campaigns and initiatives to ensure the Crossrail team is aligned with the project’s vision, values and business plan.Delivery of Crossrail’s employee opinion survey. Responses show positive results regarding pride in the project and recognition of the organisation’s vision and values, and provide data which I use to develop, in liaison with senior management, programmes and interventions to promote year-on-year improvementsAdvising senior management on, developing and implementing strategies, policies and processes for the internal dissemination of company and project news.Working closely with HR and Talent & Resources to deliver the communications aspect of the ongoing project change programme.Line management of the Crossrail Internal Communications team.

Crossrail

Representing the project via a range of communications activity. Establishing and maintaining constructive relationships with project stakeholders, sponsors and contractors and actively seeking opportunities to generate positive PR for the project through the creation and implementation of an effective communications strategy.Management of all internal communication channels –newsletter, weekly reports, employee seminars, leadership fora, intranet and all other internal media. Ensuring alignment with the business strategy and consistency in tone and style.Leading the Crossrail events team, with full responsibility for the project management of all event activity - conferences, exhibitions, press events, etc - including hiring and managing staff, and all logistics.

Crossrail

Management of the public consultation visitor centres, with responsibility for staffing, logistics, health and safety, etc. Regular liaison with local authorities and other key stakeholders.Interface with the public via helpdesk enquiries – disseminating technical information to the public in an understandable manner.

Secretariat for a number of member Committees.Website design and maintenance.Writing and distributing a newsletter to 250 subscribers.
