My role focused on implementing monitoring solutions to enhance cybersecurity, ensuring robust protection for our clients' digital environments.

Created my own customer portfolio on the basis of cold acquisition. For my current customers I am a trusted advisor for various projects, e.g. modern working and cloud solutions. Switching quickly between the customer, verdor, business consultant and other service parties on a daily basis to create the best practice solution asked for.

Once the webshop was opened and the trial period successfully finished, the goal was to expand reBuy further into the Dutch market. One of the ways to do this is by online marketing; supporting reBuy’s growth over many different marketing channels is challenging and exciting.We closed the first full year of 2018 with almost 6 million euro of nett sales.

reBuy is the European market leader in used electronics where customers can sell their used electronics and purchase refurbished products. By doing so, they are supporting the circular economy and saving valuable sustainable resources. When I started at reBuy, Dutch customers could only sell their used products, but were not able to purchase refurbished products. In May 2017 we opened the doors of the webshop for the Dutch customers, since then they were able to purchase refurbished products at reBuy.Opening the Dutch webshop gave me a lot of insights about processes and the tasks of different teams within an e-commerce company.

The resort is built in a former airship hangar and has capacity of over 8000 guests and multiple facilities to stay-over (rooms, tents, mobile-homes, camping). During this 5 month internship I was active in the development department.I had the opportunity to develop my knowledge in the corporate and strategic development departments. My main task within the corporate department was quality improvement in the different operational facilities (e.g. improving service in one of the 12 F&B outlets). In the strategic development department I was supporting bigger projects such as concept development of the new Mobile Homes. Not only did I expand my knowledge about business development, I also improved my German to an advanced level.

At this eatery / pub in city center of Maastricht I have been active as a waiter / bartender.

The Crowne Plaza Johannesburg is part of the InterContinental Hotels Group and has 318 rooms. During this amazing internship I got the opportunity to see all operational parts of the hotel (Housekeeping, Maintenance, F&B, Guests Relations, Front-office, Reservations and Revenue). Furthermore I had the great chance to develop my cultural knowledge by working together with a lot of different people, and also by exploring the African culture.
