After leaving the Victory Theatre, I found a full-time theatre management job where most of the customers have the reputation for not watching the movie. When I arrived at the "Captain Kidd Drive-In,"​ there were concession shortages and considerable waste; the playground equipment was in the storage room; the box office building had suffered from deferred.

After we had saved the theatre from what would have been imminent demolition and transition into a 22-car parking lot--(also see, "Save the Victory Committee,"​ below), we started to manage the crowd: Initially, the overall customer behavior was way outside of the acceptable range for any indoor cinema.
