An experienced Chief Operating Officer / Chief Technology Officer with practical ‘hands on’ experience of managing technology, operational, financial and HR functions. I started my career in technology but, with a commercial mindset, quickly moved into central change roles – blending technical delivery with operational efficiency.I have an innovative and delivery focused approach, with a reputation for designing & delivering effective solutions to complex business challenges. A theme common throughout my career is a collaborative and open approach – creating dynamic, loyal teams with strong stakeholder engagement. I have frequently acted as a ‘trust adviser’, being asked to support, guide and mentor managers and teams across a diverse range of roles and functions.I have a real passion for community affairs work; the last 14 years as a Governor at a Primary School in Tower Hamlets. The school’s success recently being recognised in a personal letter from Secretary Of State for Education, the school being placed in the top 3% nationally for pupil progress. Previously a business mentor for the Prince’s Trust, with a named citation in a speech given by Gordon Brown to the Prince of Wales.
