I participate in contract management and negotiations with both business partners, public authorities and customers, and I advice and handle consumer related issues. My job has a clear international focus. As a part of the New Market Group, I do legal compliance research related to start-ups in new markets as well as adjustments to requirements in existing markets worldwide.I am involved in implementing anti-corruption measures relevant to the business, especially due diligence of local and foreign business partners.Most of all, I try to be a service provider for the business and assist in opening doors and finding solutions to overcome the challenges we face.

I volunteered as a member of a special department in Fairbar, whose goal was to build a mobile bar to take out to larger events in Jutland. The bar was eventually build from an old horse trailer (yes, an old horse trailer!) and converted into a mobile bar with its own beer tab and grill. The mobile bar was named "Fairbars Flytbar".After a few months I was asked to chair the department and lead the projects and negotiations with the events. During my involvement, Fairbars Flytbar served food and drinks at the main festivals in the Aarhus area, including SPOT Festival, Northside Festival and other larger events. In continuation hereof, I also worked as Manager responsible for specific bars and stands at the festivals. I am very proud of the results we achieved together as a team in this out-of-the-box project.As project leader I gained valuable experience from my voluntary work:- Project Planning and Execution - Leadership and Management- Encouragement of volunteers - Budget Balancing - Practical Problem Solving and Quick Fixes - Negotiations - Communication - Marketing - Basic Hard Work - get the job done!

As an external lecturer, I conducted lectures for freight forwarding and shipping students as a part of their education. I lectured in sales, torts and purchase law as well as general transportation, shipping and maritime law.Via the classes, I gained useful experience in terms of preparation and presentation of complicated knowledge to a diverse group of recepients with different backgrounds and qualifications.

In my position as assistant attorney in Team Transport and Trade, I independently adviced clients about legal issues concerning various international and commercial matters. Most of the cases revolved around legal research and problem solving in combination with contract management and negotiations.Besides helping the clients in the individual cases, I also organised and lectured at seminars with extisting and potential clients. As a part of the marketing measures, I was responsible for writing articles and presentations to various papers and sites.Among the most valuable instruments I learned at this position, was the ability to take in and digest huge amounts of knowledge and information in a very short period of time. Moreover, the outcome of these investigations had to result in useful practical solutions, and not just smart possibilities in theory.Finally, I learned to take responsibility - also for others, when they were unable to do so themselves.

My primary responsibilities were to conduct legal research and write legal opinions in various court cases. In time, I handled some of these court cases independently and participated to the extent I was legally allowed to. This included writings to the court, conducting on-site surveys with the opposing counsel and a professional expert, as well as arresting vessels with the assistance of a judge and the port authorities.The development in my tasks and responsibilities graduately taught me to convert theoretical learnings from law school into useful solutions in practice.

Initially, I worked as a holiday relief for the permanent staff. At the end of the period I served as a permanent substitute to fill the empty slots. Though the job wasn't highly esteemed, I took a lot of learnings from it. Bulding relations to new colleagues day after day was essential for good and safe coorporation. Operating heavy machinery and cargo required adaptability and safety awareness under the pressure to reach the scheduled time frames and objectives.These qualifications are universal and are easily converted to take on different challenges every day.
