Was the Chairman, formerly the Technical Officer of the Chartered Institute for IT's Data Centre Specialist Group Comittee.We cover every aspect for the Data Centre, from IT and Facilities, with a direct membership of around 2000 Data Centre and IT professionals.

I once organised the groups Linkedin and internet presence strategy and help it communicate better with the membership.I also presented on behalf of the group and write content for the group to discuss and distribute.

I'm the founder, of Iceotope, I then became a NED of this start-up developing novel technology that significantly reduces data centre energy costs by improving server cooling.I resigned in September 2011 and the company subsequently went into administration. In November I successfully raised a 7 figure investment round and put in a bid that saw me retake control of the technology, incorporating a new company

I took an early stage idea to proof of concept and initial patent filings.I successfully secured venture capital funding from SYIF and EV, which has followed through resulting in more than £2m being invested in the technology.
