I am an Executive Director and Chair, Non-Executive Director, National CEO of the Year, and Committee Member with over a decade of board level experience across the public, commercial and not for profit sectors with particular experience in Connected, Smart Cities and associated IoT, Urban Development, Housing construction, Technology. At the Board level, some highlights include Inaugural Chair Board Audit Committee - ACT Suburban Land Agency, Non-Executive Director of DHA IML, Managing Director at Defence Housing Australia (DHA) and the Urban Development Institute Australia. In these roles, I bring experience in all major disciplines including accounting, audit, finance, governance, high technology, legal, policy, strategy and specifically property. In an executive capacity, I have run a range of companies such as high technology start-ups to multibillion dollar residential development and property management. Currently, the Managing Director of Development Strategic Advisory (strategic advice and company Board establishment) providing Interim Executive Services. Earlier I was the Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer of Defence Housing Australia where I managed revenues of $1.3 billion p/a; Land development portfolio of ~A$3.1 billion; Balance sheet $2.2b. Here I was also a Pseudo Director. Finally, I am a Fellow of the AICD, have an MBA and University of Oxford, MSc in Sustainable Urban Development with a Dissertation ‘Imaging the Real: The Post Autonomous Vehicle City”. I have completed the Company Directors Course and was awarded the coveted Australian CEO of the Year in 2015/16 by the Customer Services Institute of Australia.
