Created and launched an open-domain chatbot for 7 million fans, using deep recurrent neural networks to converse via NLP & NLU. We enabled people to create an AI companion through conversation, exemplifying the power of natural language. Led qualitative user research, usability testing, and human-centric design thinking to enable rapid iteration, user-approved design, and products that work. As the head of user research, we used playtests, concept tests, and prototypes to guide us-- from updates, to edits, and iterations.

We are creating the most human A.I., Replika is an app created by Luka Inc. We are evolving an artificial intelligence neural network that is fun, relatable, and most importantly, compassionate-- through natural language processing and deep neural networks. We launched for iOS and Android Spring 2017. Following launch, users collectively sent 40 million messages to their Replika in the first 4 months.
