CurrentProvide strategic advice and reports to the CEO and Board, including briefing papers and policy documents.Provide visionary, strategic, and effective leadership, ensuring the provision of all aspects of the distribution and accountability of recurrent funding with related policy development and administrative arrangements.Develop strategic responses to proposals and initiatives for the recurrent funding of non-government schools, whilst developing, maintaining, and communicating an… Show more Provide strategic advice and reports to the CEO and Board, including briefing papers and policy documents.Provide visionary, strategic, and effective leadership, ensuring the provision of all aspects of the distribution and accountability of recurrent funding with related policy development and administrative arrangements.Develop strategic responses to proposals and initiatives for the recurrent funding of non-government schools, whilst developing, maintaining, and communicating an understanding of all resources and funding policies impacting on the operation of Catholic education in NSW.Act on behalf of the CSNSW in determining legal and contractual arrangements with government that maintain the educational interests and operations on a sound financial basis.Liaise and negotiate with Commonwealth and State Government agencies, statutory authorities, Catholic Schools Authorities, Religious Institutes, Congregational schools, and other organisations in relation to Catholic schools recurrent funding.Liaise and co-operate with representatives from other Catholic education authorities concerning finance-related issues to share best practice.Exercise responsibility for the financial models for the receipt, distribution, payment and acquittal of all government recurrent grants received and related reporting requirements.Engage with and work collaboratively with NSW Dioceses to ensure financial compliance across the NSW Catholic school's system and provide statutory financial reporting requirements to governments.Providing a strategic analysis of the outcomes and impact on each diocesan education system and its schools from the current funding distribution.Develop and implement appropriate risk management and fiduciary strategies and guidelines for the recurrent programs managed by CSNSW.Drive efficiencies and improvements in policy and processes, via stakeholder communication, consultation and engagement, and by demonstrating benefits for the business.
