I have always been someone who works well in a team setting, and can communicate effectively with others. Coming from a family where my father owned his own small business, this was consistently at the forefront of my career objectives. While attending Bentley, I got involved in event planning, and found that this setting of teamwork, project management, and campus marketing was incredibly rewarding. This lead me to focus on a marketing degree and career path.While in school I started working for an on campus startup, SourceAid, through which I was responsible for the marketing strategy and trade show operations. We attended four national trade shows with success, and it was this experience that brought me to Access, TCA (an exhibit house) a few years later. At Access I was involved in the trade show planning and operations for a number of small and large clients, who exhibited both nationally and internationally. In 2008, I pivoted and used my account management background to move into the restaurant world, satisfying a lifelong passion for great food. With Legal Sea Foods, I was a manager at a number of large scale locations, and at their flagship location “Legal Harborside” I was a part of a management team that saw 8 consecutive quarters of sales growth. In these restaurants I was a driving force behind the operations, while doing my best to provide “over the top” food and hospitality to all of our guests.After leaving Legal’s in 2015, I am looking to blend my experiences in marketing and event/operations management in a position that will allow me to contribute to the growth of a company or organization. I feel that I would be most successful in a marketing centric role that involved meeting & event management, account management with a portfolio of clients, and exposure/responsibility within a trade show program.
