Development of a business game explaining the main concepts of Quick Response Manufacturing by simulating a manufacturing plant, supported by an economic study of the effects of QRM on the manufacturing costs. The game is used today at the Lean Learning Academy at Ghent to train managers and CEO’s.This game simulates the thresholds that custom-order companies are experiencing. Through 3 game rounds, one learns the basic concepts of the theory by simulating both the production and administrative tasks of a company. These rounds are supported by KPI's and an economic study in order to clearly indicate the principles and effects to the participants.
