Field production on an American Experience/PBS Documentary, "Fly with Me"

I was the Associate Producer on the American Experience documentary, “Mr. Tornado.” It tells the story of Ted Fujita, who was a mainstay in the study of tornadoes and established the Fujita Scale for measuring tornado intensity. I worked with Rossi Films throughout the filmmaking process including creative, script editing, research, production, animation, and fact-checking.

Position Summary: Manages the design layouts and production of Festival print and digital publications. Duties and Responsibilities:Oversees the production layout of two Festival Film Guides (print and digital), a Festival Catalog (approx. 300 pages), Press and Industry Guide, and the Directors Guide (8.5x11" PDF doc.) utilizing existing templates. - Trains and manages the Festival Associate Manager, Editing. - Manages the production approval process adhering to all deadlines and fact checking. - Strictly adheres to and enforces publication timeline. - Formats all Festival program data using InDesign. - Preps, delivers files, and attends press checks with SLC based print vendor.- Ensures publication design staff are organizing and archiving all artwork files. - Completes a comprehensive written Festival wrap report as directed.

As co-creative director of Pacific Tote Company, I helped build up the brand from the ground up—everything from creating videos, jingles, and content to sourcing and producing the bags themselves. We even designed and opened the company’s brick-and-mortar store in Echo Park, CA. - Management and execution of promotional materials in print, video, and social media outlets.- Creative design and execution of the Pacific Tote Company flagship store in Los Angeles, CA- Management and direction of hired freelance workers and manufacturers.- Development and execution of new products.
