About Peter U.
My name is Peter Unger, I am passionate about solving problems through design and engineering. A curiosity for how things work and working with my hands have always been central to what drives me. Whether it be working with CAD, woodworking, or a soldering iron, the thought of creating new things to make people’s lives easier excites me. Working across disciplines and backgrounds with students and co-workers is something which I have had significant experience with and believe is crucial to the design process. In my free time, I enjoy exploring the world outside of the classroom through my love for backcountry skiing, trail running, and mountaineering. The combination of good design and sound engineering has the power to change people’s lives in profound ways and the opportunity to play a role in that drives me to create everyday.
