My financial leadership background spans liquidity, funding and capital management, with my most recent role at Credit Suisse leading the Treasury function for the Americas and Liquidity on a global scale for the Investment Banking business as Co-Head. In this dual capacity, I led a 60-member organization in managing the bank’s cash position and ensuring the business had sufficient access to capital to achieve its growth and operational objectives. I also served as a primary liaison with regulatory agencies, debt investors, lenders and major hedge funds. Over the course of my 15-year tenure at Credit Suisse, I positioned liquidity at the forefront of the risk management agenda while strengthening Treasury’s partnership with the business. Among the most notable successes was the Treasury function transformation from a policy-centric support team to a credible, funding-focused advisory group. We became a valuable in-house resource on liquidity and capital management issue resolution and built flexible frameworks that enabled the business to thrive while achieving financial stability and delivering on regulatory commitments.
