As a hands-on (at home with the command line) software architect and developer with over a decade of systems engineering experience and approaching two decades of software development experience, I help companies and organizations create software that achieves their goals. It's been an honor to work with companies where the projects I contribute to or lead impact millions of users and hundreds of Fortune 1000 companies and their customers. In addition to the development, I enjoy helping companies approach work in a manner that is scalable and increases visibility, interaction, and consistent results.My work is focused on software architecture, systems engineering, and back-end / front-end development. Though, I greatly respect the disciplines of graphics design, information architecture, interaction design, and usability, I do not believe there is enough time to be a real expert in all of these and software development. Therefore, given my interests, education, and experience, I focus on what I do well.
