As Chair of the Health Services Administration Department at Xavier University, my purpose is to guide students and colleagues in realizing their full potential, encouraging them to pursue vocations that serve the greater good. With a background in health economics and outcomes research, my work is centered on equipping future healthcare leaders with the tools to navigate the evolving landscape of value-based care. My research emphasizes the economic evaluation of medical care, enabling informed decision-making that serves both patient outcomes and system efficiencies. Throughout my career, which spans two decades of leadership roles in health economics at a Fortune 20 healthcare company and global contract research organization, I have remained committed to using data and research to advocate for accessibility to medical care, particularly for underserved populations.
