I am a PhD mathematician and I earned my PhD this past December! I am currently working as a Math AI trainer with Scale AI.I do research in a field of math called algebraic topology, specifically homotopy theory. The main focus of my research surrounds computing stable homotopy groups of spheres and producing new tools and spectral sequences to further those computations. You can view my arXiv preprints here: https://arxiv.org/search/math?searchtype=author&query=Marek,+P .Throughout my time in graduate school, I have gained many skills including performing research, breaking down complicated mathematical ideas into easier-to-understand ones, teaching and tutoring math to students, and experience with several programming languages and math software, including LaTeX, C (via Linux terminal), Python, Maple, and Mathematica.In my free time, I enjoy playing the drums, guitar, exercising, cooking, and trying new things!
