This is the first internal IT position at Cerulean with a primary focus on building the functional area from the ground up.Responsibilities• Develop and align IT strategy with organizational goals by evaluating business capabilities and services, IT sourcing, technology landscape and current IT operating model• Partner with enterprise risk officer to develop cybersecurity risk assessment and create and execute mitigation plan• Evaluate and manage current IT managed service provider and other vendors to determine IT staffing and sourcing needs of the company• Develop and streamline processes around IT such as onboarding/termination, policies, cybersecurity, contracts/procurement, disaster recovery and collaboration• Create and manage annual and LRP (3 years) budget • Oversee successful office location move from Cambridge to Waltham in Q4 2015 with minimal disruption• Present IT gap analysis and initial findings to the board of directors• Identify key controls for SOX compliance and devise action plan for SOX readiness in 2017

My role at Momenta allows me to wear several hats within the IT space including Business Analyst, Project Manager, SharePoint Expert, Vendor Liaison, Trainer and Creative Business Problem Solver.

-Provide technical expertise for project based IT systems administration for biotech company -Manage day to day activities such as monitoring and maintenance of critical systems-Collaborate with functional groups to improve processes and procedures involving technical systems-Evaluate and recommend technological solutions which solve business problems

-Provided IT consulting services to SMB market customer base-Recommended, procured and implemented hardware & software solutions based on customer requirements, needs and budget-Serve leadership role as technical resource to consulting staff-Design solutions for SMB organizations geared towards scalability, reliability and availability

• Implement EMC Legato Software and Modules as part of Partners Program with EMC• Architect backup solution for customers to maximize backup windows and improve recovery time & point objectives for Enterprise Class environments• Design and implement data protection solutions using various backup, archiving and replication software for multi-site Enterprise Class environments• Provide training to IT staff on backup best practices and methodologies• Develop strategic documentation for backup, replication and archive technical solutions• Provide project management expertise for various technical projects including backup migrations, SAN redesigns and Disaster Recovery planning
