Served as a Test Officer assigned to the Mission Command Test Directorate responsible for the cost, schedule and performance of service specific and joint operational testing of multi-million dollar Acquisition Category-1 and below information mission area systems. Responsible for the design, coordination, and execution of operational testing in support of the Department of the Army and Office of the Secretary of Defense acquisition decision making process. Responsible for the development of timely and viable test plans and reports that assures Army communication systems are tested and evaluated against approved critical operational effectiveness, suitability, survivability, and maintainability criteria.

Coordinated all project management activities for a team of 4 Government and 36 support contractors. Responsible for planning, managing and executing a portfolio of 10 projects valued at under $100M in order to provide state-of-the-art data and voice infrastructure to support strategic requirements in support of U.S. Forces in Southwest Asia (SWA). Responsible for schedules, funding profiles, engineering solutions and life cycle support planning for all projects. Managed cost, schedule and performance for all assigned projects from CONUS and forward deployed. Served as an advisor to customer organizations for acquisition planning in support of validated requirements. Coordinated with units in SWA to synchronize efforts among procurement and operations and maintenance activities.

Served as Assistant Product Director for the U.S. Army Rapid Equipping Force (REF). Responsible for managing selected REF projects that focus on emerging technologies that defeat improvised explosive devices and critical future force technologies for insertion into operational environment. Managed assigned programs operated under a streamlined acquisition process where systems mature within 180 days to one year in order to assess the suitability of selected technologies for continued development. Directly managed fifteen REF programs with a combined annual budget over 40 million dollars. Represented the REF in presenting selected programs to users, Army leadership, combat developers, safety agencies, and independent evaluators.

Deputy Division G4 for the United States Division-Center (USD-C) and the 1st Armored Division supporting four Brigades and additional forces totaling 19,668 Soldiers deployed in support of OIF 10-11. Assisted the G4 with supervision of the G4 section, including supply, maintenance, transportation, field services, contracting, logistics automation, food service operations and Army RESET operations. Prepared and managed correspondence, staffing documents, conducted research, compiled lists and other source materials to ensure the successful and safe execution of section missions. Responsible for supervising the G4 Admin section. Served as the G4 in his absence.
