College ProfessorI am full-time faculty at Fordham University in New York where I teach marketing, sales management, services marketing and CRM for MBA and undergraduate students.It All Began...My first career was in the ad agency business with NW Ayer, Bozell & Grey.In 1995 I began a new phase as one of a handful of grown-ups at two fast-moving Interactive agencies. The kids knew the technology – and we had ideas on how to grow the businesses. What fun!Transition to Teaching & PhDIt was through the Internet business that I discovered my love of teaching. As head of business development I did a lot of coaching, mentoring and knowledge transfer with our bright up-and-coming employees. Those skills led me to guest lectures at Pace University and eventually an adjunct Assistant Professor position in their MBA program.Consulting & Publishing: I continue consulting with a number of companies on branding architecture, marketing decision models and the effective use of organizational improvisation. I have published academic articles on teaching creativity, digital innovation and the use of improvisation to create business strategy.
