As the Business Process Manager for McB, I manage a variety of technology initiatives and services for various business units in the construction, mining, real estate development, and steel fabrication sectors. This requires collaboration with both contracted services as well as internal teams, with the overall goal of creating value by driving innovation and process improvement across the business. In this role I act as a key resource for brainstorming new initiatives, developing reporting and analysis tools, and configuring key software platforms, including ERP systems, Office 365, and Sharepoint.

In the role of Business Process Manager, I completed a variety of technology-related projects, including the planning and implementation of a data collection application, corporate Intranet, and various ERP system processes. Responsibilities also included evaluation of new and emerging technologies in the construction industry, with a focus on project management, production tracking, and data analysis software. The role required communication with employees at a variety of levels, from training with field employees to presentations on technology recommendations with company leadership.

In this role, I executed the responsibilities of a construction project manager in a fast-paced environment. This included planning work, procuring suppliers and subcontractors, ordering material, managing cost, documenting and tracking progress, and overseeing day to day activities. I managed a number of successful projects, increasing the profit margin for four straight projects by over 5% through cost savings and procurement of additional work.

As Project Engineer, I planned and managed the installation of $40 million of structural steel for a $415 million bridge contract in New Haven, CT.
