Over time, this curiosity developed into strong technical and engineering skills, coupled with the ability to see more effective use for things. My focus is always to couple my skills and creativity, to achieve great outcomes.In the earliest part of my professional career, my focus was using data to prevent serious criminal threats to our society. From 2008, my work involved leveraging technology to combat financial crime, optimise the customer journey and improve security against threats. My objective: to build more financially stable & healthy businesses for all of us.I’m invested in creating conditions that foster success in the people I work with and lead, aligning market led propositions and delivering high value solutions, across all measures.My ambition with every client is to help them achieve their objectives. Often, I step outside the “classical” remit of my role to achieve this, but I do it because it’s the right thing.I love knowing I’ve helped organisations provide better service to their community because my team have worked diligently to prevent fraud, terrorism and crime.My colleagues continue to teach me daily how complicated security is for operational staff and how common it is for organisations to believe their security is ok. So too, industry experts and thought leaders add to my professional development.This always helps me to adapt by challenging my objectives, methods and strategic goals.This work will never end - every day presents previously unknown threats, so ongoing vigilance and diligent focus is crucial.
