Peter has over 30 years’ professional experience as a consulting engineer in Australia and the UK. He has particular expertise in the design management of major multi-disciplinary transport infrastructure schemes and has been Project Manager/Design Director for the delivery of a portfolio of projects with a collective value of over $5 billion over the past 15 years. His experience covers all phases of project delivery including feasibility, planning and detailed design for D&C contractors during both tender and delivery phases. Peter has particular experience in the design of rail infrastructure projects and has been responsible for the delivery of designs on a range of award-winning rail upgrades, including a number of projects in complex brown-field environments. His experience in this field covers passenger, freight, and light rail schemes and includes the Moreton Bay Rail project ($730m), Richlands to Springfield rail line ($430m), Gold Coast Rapid Transit Stage 1 ($1B - client technical advisor role, including development of reference design).
