My porfolio is at PeterJWalters.com.I've been working as a Video Game Artist/Animator since 1998. I received my BFA in Fine Art in Graphic Design at the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design. I have worn many hats in the Video Game/VR industry including Character Artist, UI Artist, Environment Artist and Technical Artist and now an Art Director. I oversee the Art Department from the concepts through modeling/texturing, to setup/rigging, animation and getting them fully functional in the game. I've become proficient at troubleshooting issues and contributing to workflow improvements. I continually work on improving my skills as an illustrator, Animator and Character Tech Artist, building many of our scripts in Mel and Python. I also spend nearly a decade studying acting in classes, workshops and being in many productions which helps immensely with animation work. Specialties: Character Rigging, Animation, Acting, Mel/Python Scripting, Scheduling, Managing, Art Directing, Modeling and Texturing.
