The role consists of technical governance, architecture and platform strategy for all Voice and Contact Centres for Commonwealth Bank of Australia, and the development, technology roadmap and go to market strategies for IP Telephony Accountabilities include• Product development, lifecycle and technology roadmaps• Lead and develop the practice providing governance and solution strategy/advice.• Approval of unified communications enterprise architectures, strategies and proposals.• Work across sales, commercial, technical and marketing teams and provide inputs for creation of new services and solutions including business case development.• Maintain product and technical relationships with vendors, partners and customers• Quality assurance in accordance with Gen-i ITIL processes and procedures

Designing and Developing Solutions for customers based Enterprise IP Telephony platforms including Nortel, Cisco and Avaya and integration with Microsoft OCS platforms including business case development, proposals, presentations to customer and responding to RFP's and RFI's as required

In this role, I was responsible for providing in-house support of the data network across multiple locations. Assigned the Project lead engineer, responsible for a major property refurbishment initiative which included a complete refresh of LAN infrastructure at head offices and relocation of the data centre.

Member of the Network Re-Design team that was responsible for migrating the world wide legacy X.25 Network to a new Frame Relay Network including a new IP and IPX addressing scheme.Accountabilities: * Site Audits, including LAN, WAN, servers, gateways, cabling * Migration, test and roll back plans * Cutover and Testing, including server IP readdressing and configuration * Day one support

My primary responsibility at the BMA was the management and support of the Voice and Data network. Additionally I worked as part of a team that provided second and third line support on the organisation’s Microsoft and Novell NetWare server farm, all desktop operating systems and application programs based at the head office in London and 16 regional offices.

Working across multiple roles within the organisation, progressing from junior to senior positions within the company. I provided support across the company’s various technology platforms (Netware, Windows, Mainframe LAN and WAN, Telephony) and worked on multiple projects with both the IT executive and third party organisations delivering new platforms or enhanced services.
