As a postdoctoral researcher, I was working on a research project regarding the development of new methods for diagnostics and imaging of cancer tumors using terahertz radiation. My main achievement during this time was designing and building a functioning terahertz imaging system, which can image biological samples in real time (the first of its kind).

Financed by European Unions Marie-Curie FP7 programme, NOTEDEV, stipendium nr. 607521.During my time as a PhD, I used a self-built terahertz spectrometer to measure the optical and electronic properties of nanomaterials, which involved collecting, analyzing and visualizing diverse data sets from different sources. In addition, I have been responsible for the purchase, implementation, optimization and development of various optical setups and related equipment, including femtosecond lasers, as well as terahertz transmitters, detectors, and image processing equipment. This full-time position as a teacher consisted of organizing and teaching the physics curriculum of four high school classes at C level.
