The department currently comprises more than 30 dedicated and skilled colleagues, primarily consisting of developers, architects, product owners, project managers, and analysts. They handle all development of logistics software for Danske Fragtmænd.Success in my current role involves ensuring my colleagues thrive and look forward to coming to work. Shielding my colleagues and ensuring they focus on the right tasks has been key to maintaining good progress.Our internally developed systems support Danske Fragtmænd’s value chain, ensuring operational stability and security around our logistics and transportation solutions.Notable completed projects include:- Digitization of physical freight documents, including the rollout and implementation of a new dispatch solution for all 40 freight carriers who own Danske Fragtmænd.- Upgrading the warehouse management system across all our warehouse facilities.- Replacing 2,500 PDAs with updated and improved custom PDA software.- Several major infrastructure upgrades and enhancements to our security measures.- Establishing software and logic to support automated package sorting.- Developing sales features within our CRM solution. The department consisted of 8 skilled colleagues (now part of digitalization). Successfully merged the project office with analysis/business intelligence (BI) to achieve greater business insights. By assembling the right competencies, we executed projects efficiently.Notable completed projects include:- Implementation of parcel scanning at Danske Fragtmænd, significantly enhancing cargo traceability.- Establishment of Danske Fragtmænd’s first environmental accounting (ESG reporting).- Creation of a real-time overview tool for tracking the whereabouts of trailers and equipment. Successfully managing an investment of more than DKK 170 million adding more than 3.000 m2 to the existing facility. During the 3 years, the project lasted I have been a key driver in ensuring solid global stakeholder management and compliance with internal governance of large investment projects. Daily business sparring partner to the site head as well as the site management team primarily supporting with building business cases and strategic considerations. Establishment of a business intelligence platform for the research operations function to increase transparency as well as to monitor the performance and overall health of the site. Project manager with responsibilities for several global projects and process improvement initiatives, including: Successful establishment and implementation of a global clinical trial budgeting process with an annual fiscal footprint of more than DKK 1.5 billion. Since the project impacts the work of more than 500 employees globally high attention was placed on stakeholder management and change management to ensure a successful execution and local anchoring.Successful establishment and anchoring of key productivity measurements within the global R&D organisation, with the purpose of creating awareness and attention towards the responsible use of resources. Financial sparring partner to Project Vice Presidents within the area of haemophilia and growth hormone.Owner of the anchor budgets and the rolling estimates processes covering the entire R&D organisation in Novo Nordisk, with a total budget of ~ DKK 10 billion (in 2010). As process owner, I had the responsibility to optimise the global R&D budgeting process, including the merger of two separate budgeting processes. The process merger was part of a departmental merger within corporate financial planning to ensure a coherent and standardized budgeting process across line of business as well as the project organisation.
