The Swedish Welding Commission is a nonprofit organization which works to support industrial companies, research institutes, government and other public agencies as well as other types of organizations. The primary objectives of the Commission is to promote the research and development of Swedish welding and cutting technology and standardization, education and information in the welding field. The Commission has some 400 member companies. They represent a number of different industrial sectors: the engineering industry, the steel manufacturing industry, and manufacturers of products for welding and cutting. Thus, the Welding Commission represents and can draw on expertise from all of the major industrial sectors where welding plays a significant role.

ITW Subarc Solutions is the global support for SAW applications. We work with the consumables, equipment and process.

SWELDX has its focus on Submerged Arc Welding. We supply the consumables and we are able to help our customers to increase their productivity and lower the defect rate through expert process knowledge. We have learnt over the years that there is potential for improvement at most customers doing SAW. Sometimes with over 20% in productivity and with improved quality. We also educate the welders practically to maintain the improvements made.

The regional welding society for the district of Örebro. The purpose of the society is to support our members in welding and cutting related issues, to create contacts between member companies and to arrange visits and courses.
