Plaintiff and civil defense litigation for individuals and businesses, appellate practice, and family court litigation, as well as defense of indictable, disorderly persons, driving while intoxicated, and driving while suspended cases.

Defense of indictable cases, including first and second degree, as well as domestic violence and disorderly persons.

Worked on all aspects of indictable cases at the trial and appellate level. Prepared an amicus brief to the New Jersey Supreme Court on behalf of the ACDL-NJ in State v. Grate, 220 N.J. 317 (2015). Literally dug up from the earth thousands of pages of buried financial records. Investigated the death of an inmate. Took and defended depositions. Propounded discovery and prepared discovery responses. Participated in arbitration and engaged in settlement negotiations. Drafted contracts as well as resolutions, and implemented asset recovery strategies for corporate clients.

Assisted in investigating and prosecuting cases within the Trial Team, Major Crimes, Juvenile, Appellate, Fraud, and Narcotics. Under R. 1:21-3(b), briefed, prepared, and argued several motions in court including motions: for production of medical records relating to homicide defendant; to prevent production of personnel records of law enforcement officers; to prevent disclosure of surveillance locations and identity of confidential informants; opposing dismissal based on indictment and de minimis; seeking admission of statements; opposing suppression of physical evidence; opposing applications for post conviction relief; opposing applications to the pre-trial intervention program; and de novo review of municipal court decisions. Conducted research and prepared memoranda on diverse and novel legal issues. Briefed and filed all documents for direct appeal. Interviewed and prepared State’s witnesses for testimony. Attended trial strategy and post-trial review meetings. Attended meetings on internal procedures with senior staff, and prepared research-based recommendations on office policy and law enforcement practice.

Maintained sales, repairs and custom orders. Researched marketing and prospective acquisitions. Performed bench work including resizing and repairing jewelry, as well as creating custom pieces.

Assisted several organizations in the representation of clients facing foreclosure by challenging the validity of underlying mortgage agreements. Reviewed case files, assessed the strength of claims, drafted correspondence and pleadings, and performed legal research.
