Oversee all aspects of the formal affiliation of Fort Hays State University, Fort Hays Tech | North Central and Fort Hays Tech | Northwest to improve the experience of students and the communities of western Kansas. Facilitate 15 implementation teams; work with presidents to define strategic priorities.

Member of the founding senior team of a competency-based graduate program for STEM educators developed in collaboration with MIT. Also oversaw development and management of an entirely remote graduate degree program in Justice, Equity, Design and Innovation for in-service teachers from all academic disciplines.Key responsibilities and achievements include:• Oversaw all curricular and non-curricular aspects of the program, including recruitment and admissions, curricular redesign, development of the clinical education program, and equity and student support. Supervised 9 direct reports.• In collaboration with colleagues, use the principles and protocols of user-centered design to create a program aimed at transforming teacher preparation and development.• Engaged with funders and co-write grants.• Co-wrote Graduate School mission and vision and core competencies.• Co-led the successful effort to secure state approval to grant the M.Ed. degree.• Co-led the successful effort to transfer programs and staff to the University of Kansas to be offered at scale.

Chief executive officer for a residential early college of approximately 375 students, 50 faculty, and 100 staff. Responsibilities included overseeing all functions of the college; direction of strategic initiatives; fundraising; managing $21 million budget; and serving as the liaison between Simon's Rock and all other Bard College entities.Key accomplishments include:• Launched two-year residential high-school program, Bard Academy at Simon's Rock, to strengthen the college's admissions pipeline, an endeavor now successfully in its fourth year.• Initiated overhaul of marketing and recruitment efforts, including a new website, that resulted in significant increase in application starts.• Increased annual fund and major gifts among alumni and among non-board constituents; successfully solicited seven-figure gifts.• Recruited 10 new members to the Board of Overseers; managed transition to new Board Chair.• Oversaw first compilation of comprehensive data about educational outcomes of Simon's Rock alumnae/i.• Created first Career Development office for the College.• Created first DEI staffing at the College.

Responsibilities included recruitment, hiring, supervision, professional development, and evaluation of 66-member faculty; management of all faculty budget lines; collaboration with academic dean on curricular initiatives; day-to-day management of the school with academic dean and dean of students; and leadership of department heads. Highlights included:• Chaired Committee on Faculty Equity (2010-11) leading to revision of the compensation structure for day and residential faculty.• Co-chaired Committee on Faculty Evaluation (2009-10), resulting in the voluntary adoption by the faculty of a new evaluation protocol after a year-long process of revision.• Implemented department head rotation to create a more inclusive model of faculty governance.

While on sabbatical from Concord Academy, provided strategic and operational assistance to a foundation with $450 million in assets whose mission was to increase access to college among under-resourced students. Responsibilities included research, site visits, and board presentations; development of granting criteria and evaluation strategy; organization of foundation's first convening of grantees.

Mentored college student teachers at a six-week academic summer program for middle­ school students from underserved schools; coordinated all programs related to faculty evaluation and development.
