Senior BDM for A&O’s APAC Litigation Group, supporting the APAC Regional Practice Head on regional initiatives, as well as the Hong Kong Litigation, Arbitration, Restructuring, and Regulatory practices, and the Singapore Arbitration practice. Achievements have included:- Working with the APAC Litigation Regional Practice Head to implement his strategic priorities, in particular in relation to the expansion of the APAC practice, individual team BD planning, and the integration of the APAC teams.- Writing strategy papers on current and future commercial and litigation trends in Hong Kong, Mainland China and Singapore and their implications for the development of A&O’s litigation practices. - Drafting papers for the global litigation management and the partnership presenting the case for lateral partner hires, as well as preparing and executing communications and integration plans for lateral hires. - Leading the APAC High Performance Working Group - a group set up to identify and alleviate pain points impacting the APAC BD team. - Acting as APAC BD lead on numerous global BD initiatives, including helping deliver global webinars and thought leadership pieces concerning Ukraine-related sanctions and participating in A&O’s Litigation Covid-19 Task Force and Future Disputes Working Group – a cross practice working group thinking about growth sectors for disputes, with a horizon gazing perspective.- Working with a counsel and A&O’s Ideas and Innovations Team to create and launch A&O’s Hong Kong Cyber Fraud Portal, a free online resource to help the victims of cyber fraud take steps towards obtaining freezing orders over misappropriated funds held in Hong Kong bank accounts. - Devising and executing a market study on risks facing APAC clients, conducting interviews with 33 clients, writing up the findings, analysing the data, producing and delivering a presentation on the exercise to a variety of audiences, and implementing follow up actions.

An associate in the Energy, Projects and Construction group at CMS, specialising in the resolution of disputes arising during construction & engineering projects. During my 4 years with CMS I advised on a broad range of projects, both internationally and within the UK, including transport infrastructure (road, rail and air), renewable energies, waste processing plants, hospitals and commercial developments. My experience included representing clients in litigation, international arbitrations and adjudications.During my time with the firm, I was heavily involved with the Construction group's marketing and business development activities, which I came to realise I enjoyed more than practising the law.
