Current• Responsible for handling on average 30 care orders across various asset classes, as part of a trading desk which manages over 50 clients, on a daily basis.• Executed across a variety of asset classes including: cash equities, ETFs, Fixed Income, Forex, Derivatives (Futures and Options), Structured Notes and Mutual Funds.• Established and maintained key relationships with clients and counterparty brokers, whilst working in close partnership with internal departments (Compliance, Operations, IT, Sales, Risk) to ensure high levels of client service and professionalism.• Monitored the behaviour of execution algorithms and enhanced my understanding of PB algo suites to improve execution quality and ensure best execution obligations were met.• Initiated procedures which have helped reduced desk execution errors by 50% quarterly.• Performed miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned such as ad-hoc report generation.• Oversaw the desk independently during the US and Asian (overnight) sessions, ensuring continuity of service across the different time zones worldwide and allowing the firm to capture a bigger client base in regions outside of the normal working hours in Europe and the US.
