About Peter Kelley

As Co-Founder and Managing Partner of RenewComm LLC, I provide marketing and PR for cleantech companies and environmental non-profits to accelerate their climate solutions. Are you an industry leader or disruptor, fighting to be heard above the noise? We get you noticed. We clarify your best selling points, provide you with top-quality content and B2B marketing tactics, and train the team to deliver it every time. Together we’ll keep you in the news, tell your story on social media, and generate marketing-qualified leads for your sales funnel. With over 12 years in business, serving top companies and innovators, we know what it takes to get a winning message heard. I went in-house with the American Wind Energy Association as their VP of Public Affairs from 2010-2018, running five successful campaigns for the renewable energy Production Tax Credit. Before launching the agency, I also served as the top communications staffer for three national environmental groups: the League of Conservation Voters, National Environmental Trust (now part of Pew Charitable Trusts), and American Rivers. I was communications coach for the University of Maryland's winning team in the International Solar Decathlon, and earned a B.A. in Government and Economics from Harvard University. I helped create the category of non-profit news services as the original Director of the National Security News Service and the Natural Resources News Service. I began my career as a newspaper reporter, covering the state capital of Pennsylvania and then the U.S. Congress for Newhouse Newspapers. Born when CO2 was 314 ppm in the atmosphere. Now it’s >425 ppm). Let's do something about that!
