Provided needed logistical support for a joint task force created for humanitarian/disaster response/relief for the Eastern Caribbean Islands in the wake of Hurricanes Irma, Jose and Maria. Prepared way ahead for workspace expansion and possible relocation of the agency headquarters for up to 230 personnel.

We communicate directly with the Command Elements of the battalions and units we support, including those in the most remote Area of Operations.

Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii

Responsible for logisics and the combat service support (CSS) functional areas of supply, passenger and freight transportation, maintenance, medical/dental service, engineering support, landing support, material handling, and food services within and in support of approximately 3100 personnel within the regiment and subordinate infantry units.-Coodinated with higher HQ, external agencies, and host nation support to provide CSS to 1100 personnel dispersed in 5 major Foward Operating Bases during 7 month deployment from Hawaii to Afghanistan, including a pre-deployment traning package in 3 geographically separated locations within the state of California.-Assisted in streamlning the contracting process of getting needed equipment, supplies and services for the Battalions overseas, from requisition to funding and acquisition.

Jacksonville, North Carolina Area

-Provided light, medium and heavy motor transportation support to enable internal airfield operations in terms of assets, operators, and mechanics for aviation units, Marine Corps Air Staton New River and Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, NC.-Assumed the additional duty of Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection Officer, organized crew served weapons teams into a mission oriented Air Base Ground Defense (AGBD) platoon, and develop/impemented a ABGD training plan.-As Headquarters Company Commander, responsible for the accountability, training and welfare of over 100 Marines and their families within the Squadron Headquarters, to include Administration, Intelligence, Operations, Logistics and Communications sections.-Acted as Camp Commandant (town mayor) of over 5000 Marines and coalition forces personnel, providing essential base services such as security, firefighting and prevention, sanitation, transportation, food service, air conditioning and morale, welfare & recreation activities in Kuwait during Operation Enduring/Iraqi Freedom.
