Working with the evolution of RAN SW that is shared between Ericsson‘s purpose built and virtual RAN products, including the testing and deployment of the SW

Leading a project of studies looking at next generation RAN Baseband embedded and virtual products. The work covers both HW and SW architectures.

The ERS Solutions program spans a collection of end to end network solutions (i.e. Customer Premise Equipment / User Equipment + Radio Access Network + Transport Network + Core Network + Operations and Management Network). Focus is on providing high and verified low level network designs to assist Ericsson's customer units with pre-sales and network deployment of new SW and HW products.

Pilot program to provide reference solution design documentation to improve Fixed Wireless Access pre-sales and deployment work in the market area. Sub-program to the ERS (Ericsson Radio System) Solution Program.

Responsible for a global organization providing testing environments for Ericsson’s customer facing sales organizations i.e. Market Areas and Services. This included further developing and delivering cost competitive IT and test services. The task started with units based in Spain, Italy, Germany, and Sweden, and was expanded to cover India, Australia, Korea, China, Japan, Mexico, Brazil, USA, and Canada. Design, test, and field support of diagnostic s/w to evaluate gas turbine engine performance for the Canadian Air Force’s CF-18s. 25 months of field support entailed 3 assignments to, CFB Bagotville (Quebec), CFB Cold Lake (Alberta), and CFB Baden-Soelingen (Germany). Excellent insight into how a (small) company works.
