He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Development Communication and a Diploma in Communication and Public Relations from the University of Juba. Throughout his career, he has contributed to improving journalistic standards in South Sudan by training numerous cameramen in Wau and Juba, while also advocating for freedom of expression and press freedom.Peter is passionate about freedom of expression and youth empowerment. He has freelanced for international organizations, including Al Jazeera and Agence France-Presse (AFP), and has worked as a Communication Officer for the World Food Programme (WFP). Currently, he operates as a freelance videographer, photographer, and video editor.Peter is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Kanga Africa Media Production and Investment, a registered entity in South Sudan. He is also a co-founder of the National Press Club-South Sudan, which serves as a platform for local and international journalists to share experiences and promote democratic media practices.Additionally, Peter co-founded Kanga Africa for Peace and Development (KAPD), a non-profit NGO focused on providing emergency relief and training for journalists across the country, aimed at helping displaced individuals regain their dignity and self-sufficiency. ls, aiding them in recovering their dignity, regaining self-sufficiency, and receiving training in journalism across the country.
