At Google, I spent a decade driving impact in Developer Relations, starting on the Chrome Developer Relations team. I founded and scaled Google Developer Studio (GDS), an in-house agency that became Google’s largest creative organization, supporting developer relations across all Product Areas with a $30M+ budget across training, certification, social media, video production, events, technical writing, design, and localization programs—all dedicated to educating, informing, and inspiring developers globally, at scale:Developer Relations Operations: Built GDS as Google’s central agency for unified developer messaging, partnering across all Product Areas.Developer Training: Directed $10M+ in training content, including 40+ Udacity courses, four nanodegrees, and custom paths with 10M+ completions.Developer Certification: Launched Google’s first career-focused certifications, boosting Developer Satisfaction and adding four certifications for Mobile and Web.Training Go-to-Market: Pioneered alliances with Udacity, PluralSight, and others, training 2M+ developers in India and 100K+ in Indonesia and Sub-Saharan Africa.Technical Writing: Set Google’s technical documentation standards with the Developer Style Guide, ensuring consistent, clear content.Developer Video: Managed Google’s largest video team, with 10+ studios globally, growing YouTube subscribers to 2.3M and increasing view duration by 100%.Developer Social Media: Oversaw 70+ social channels, scaling subscribers from 600K to 16M+ and views from 5M to 80M+ annually, with strong trust and safety policies.Developer Events: Created "Dev Summit" format, revived Google Developer Days, and led events like Google I/O and Cloud Next, producing 10+ annually.Creative Design: Directed branding for Google for Developers, ensuring cohesive product identities.Localization & Captions: Led localization, leveraging machine translation to reach global markets, generating over $1B in value on a $100K budget.
