At Stanadyne, I enjoyed a high tech, multidisciplinary environment. The R&D team I was on consisted of engineers with software, electronic, mechanical and theoretical model building disciplines. We developed state of the art high pressure diesel fuel injection systems to meet a string of emissions requirements During the last few years at Stanadyne, I successfully implemented over 20 fuel injection applications into production for tier 1 off-highway emissions requirements. These fuel pumps had over 200 components in them and required a lot of different components or software test setups to properly meet the fuel delivery requirements for each application.
