I am driven by a desire to achieve the best outcomes for communities and end users through innovative impactful design and procurement.‘Impossible!’ was a tutor's response to me setting out to design, fund and build Eastern Kenya's first Deaf secondary school while in my second year of Architecture School. 7 years later the team I built has proved him wrong. We have given Deaf teenagers in Eastern Kenya access to specialist full board education in spaces tailored to their needs; Extra diffuse light, reduced visual noise and extra to facilitate signed communication.‘Impossible’ is just something nobody has worked out how to do yet.Since that project I have enjoyed working on a wide variety of projects in different practice and cultural contexts. I have led projects up to £24m in value across all RIBA stages & worked on projects up to £200m+ in various sectors.
