DESA was one of Australia’s largest electrical and communications contractors before its acquisition by ENGIE, the French multi-national utility conglomerate. Starting in Melbourne as an electrical tradesperson with the firm in 1994 I progressed through Supervisor and Project Manager roles before the company asked me to take over the management of its Queensland operations in 2001.Managing a team of 30+ trades people and office staff, I successfully built DESA QLD into a major electrical contractor in QLD, completing projects for major builders and the government sector.
