I enjoy getting things done for my clients whilst working with my colleagues as part of a strong committed team whose values are based on strong, collaborative and open relationships.Our job is to put clients first and help them get to where they want to be in the best way possible whilst advising them in an easily understandable plain English way. It has always seemed obvious to me that legal service is just another business and surprised me that so many colleagues appear not to recognise that.A frustration of being a lawyer in private practice is always being one step away from the commercial decisions. However, I was lucky to serve as a director of a major client for many years. Through that, the management of our family property company and more recently as chair of governors at Warwickshire College, I have been lucky to be able to enjoy direct involvement and still continue my legal career.Having qualified too many years ago when there was much less specialism, I have also been fortunate to gain some experience working at most legal areas at one time or another but now I am at Aaron & Partners specialising in the trading activities that businesses engage in – commercial contracts of numerous kinds.
