I utilise my 25 years experience in design management and construction to deliver Safety, Risk Management, Build-ability, offsite manufacture planning, construction phasing and innovation in the design process. I take a lead role in collaborative working and have facilitation skills which enable maximisation of teamwork in design phases such as optioneering and value engineering. 11 years in the aviation sector has given me experience with a variety of engineering solutions, in both contracting and consultancy, including the design, design, management and delivery of prefabricated installations, IT Infrastructure, Electrical Infrastructure, mechanical infrastructure and plantrooms and general building services installations. I am currently a Technical Director for Shanghai WSP Consulting Ltd responsible for leading multi-disciplinary MEP teams in the delivery of major mixed use and commercial developments within China.I am a participating member in industry organisations implementing Lean Construction with a particular interest in applying these in the design process.
