As Projects Director, I manage many, diverse and complex relocation and renovation programmes for clients in different locations, often internationally. I utilise my extensive project management and construction expertise to deliver work that exceeds the expectations of clients, and results in repeat business and word of mouth referrals. My expertise lies in all phases of design and construction. I confidently collaborate with multiple industry bodies, senior executives and project stakeholders and always ensure that all stakeholders understand project objectives and expected outcomes. Remaining within budget and delivering projects on time are two of my key goals. To date I have completed multiple projects including relocation projects in the UK, an office refresh projects in Germany, the concurrent management of six energy efficiency projects for the former Department of Environment and Climate Change (DECC). Then as Project Director lead the project and cost management of the proposed new House of Commons with associated facilities and most recently for a private healthcare organisation on a new 200 bed hospital and associated off-site buildings for head office and out-patient facilities.

As a Director I held accountability for providing project and cost management services to clients in the public and private sector. During the company formation, I managed the integration of people and systems which comprised coordinating service delivery across three offices with 40 personnel, servicing clients ranging from high end retail to passenger and rail freight operators and government departments. In addition, I drove the implementation and adoption of new IT platforms and was tasked with entrenching a culture of high-performance and collaboration. I’m well-versed in process improvement methodologies and used these skills to deliver cost savings and increased operational efficiency.

In 1999 I established a consultancy from the ground up and held full accountability for service delivery to public and private sector clients. I successfully grew the business from scratch to 20+ employees across two offices. In a period of just less than ten years, I managed many diverse, high-profile projects and have listed a few as follows:• Acquisition of a complex £50+m value property transaction over an eight week period (Trevor Square) for the well known London Knightsbridge department store• Charged with revitalising and fast tracking a £2.4bn project after perceived lack of progress for the Strategic Rail Authority. • Served as independent advisor and risk manager on £40m relocation project for London Stock Exchange• Led the Metronet BCV Relocation – a project valued at £6m.• Championed the Pelham Place, Hastings construction project for SEEDA/ Foster and Partners – a £50m project comprising the design and development of a hotel, office, retail, residential and car parking facilities.

I joined Capital Project Consultants in 1990 in the capacity of Project Manager and worked my way up to later holding the title of Managing Director. Due to my sound project management knowledge and expertise I soon earned a reputation for turning underperforming projects around and delivering project outcomes on time and within budget. As Managing Director, I was responsible for business growth and achieved significant organizational wins including achieving turnover growth and profit of 50%. I secured and led the £30m North Greenwich Transport Interchange project and directed all Goldman Sachs projects in London amounting to one million square feet of office accommodation over four sites.
